Wacker, but remote for the foreseeable future)   Description The IT Portfolio Manager will be responsible for coordinating his or her assigned team’ s entire portfolio of initiatives. The role is responsible in assisting in the management and support of the resource, forecasting, and budgeting processes. This includes annual budget planning and management of the budget throughout the year. This role will also partner with key participants across the enterprise, such as technology partners, strategy and execution, and technology business management.   Responsibilities: Assisting senior management with continuous portfolio management (status, projections, resource planning, new request monitoring) Ongoing budget reviews (actual vs budget analysis, projections, periodic reporting) Projected cost in the future across the portfolio Perform analysis to understand resource commitments, burn rates and total program costs at completion Working directly with development teams to resolve conflicts and highlight portfolio changes Requires a high level of collaboration across multiple teams and roles Act as a key point of contact for E&E assigned team for FDP process Working with several team in the organization facilitating the estimation process and coordinating with Strategy and execution - Facilitate the project forecasting process for assigned teams and provide revised forecasts and variances to management on a monthly basis Timely reporting of actuals to forecast as well as key project changes, variances, and risks Ensure all team managers are aware of the impacts and can justify changes appropriately Coordination of the annual budget process and working across teams to meet submission timelines and requirements Ensure alignment across areas Provide management with reports and work with more senior members of the team on recommendations and outcomes throughout the process Maintain the systematic flow of projects into the portfolio and out of the portfolio for project closure Managing the workflow and updates to JIRA and Workday projects Work with Finance to balance budget specifically around professional fees Managing the pro fee forecasts, working with the teams to enforce exit plans for those running over budget, escalating issues to management, and ensuring resources are aligned to appropriate funding   Qualifications: Bachelor’ s degree required Minimum 3-5 years related project, portfolio, or program management support experience Solid experience with portfolio demand management and resource staffing management Proficient in Excel - Ability to understand and augment Pivot Tables Use of advanced concepts including SQL and macros considered a plus Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills are a must Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities Familiarity with project management methodology and best practices is a plus Experience in the IT industry working with multiple concurrent projects is a plus Project management or Technology business management (TBM) experience is a plus Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, PIVOT tables Proficiency with Jira and portfolio management tools is a plus Working knowledge of IT Software Development Life Cycle methodologies
