BIL Head of AMS (M / F)

Founded in 1856, Banque Internationale à Luxembourg (BIL) is the oldest multi-business bank in the Grand Duchy. It has played an active role in the main stages of development of the Luxembourg economy.

It currently operates in retail, private and corporate banking, as well as on the financial markets. Employing more than 2,000 people, BIL is present in the financial centres of Luxembourg, Switzerland (since 1984), Denmark (since 2000), the Middle East (since 2005) and Sweden (since 2016).


1. Sales Trading & Client Service

Daily, meet transactional needs, talk to our clients and transmit orders to Execution, Structuring and Trading with a high level of Execution Quality on all products :

  • Listed Derivatives
  • Funds
  • Bonds, Commercial Papers
  • BSPs, Third-Party Structured Products, Dual Currency Deposits
  • Fx Spot, FX Swaps & Forwards, FX Options
  • Deposits, Fiduciary Deposits
  • Any new products that have to be designed for our demanding clients
  • In the sole interest of our clients.

    This include transparent execution, adequate reporting and confirmation but also answers to any claim.

    2. General Management & Organization of the team

    Make sure that at any moment, the adequate resources are available to serve our clients. Monitor and improve staff performance through regular one to one and department meetings, performance reviews and training plans.

    3. Promotion of the AMS desk internally and externally with clients & prospects.

    4. Ensure regular Market Updates and development of tactical ideas to our clients and explain investment products related.

    Strengthen the Advisory competences of the team.


  • Master's Degree in Finance with detailed knowledge of financial products
  • English and French fluent
  • Knowlede of Bloomberg, Office, TAP, Kondor+
  • Knowledge of Orders Management
  • 10 Years of experience in the Banking Sector, a previous similar Sales function, especially with
  • Institutional Clients is welcomed
  • Very Strong Experience with trading clients as Relationship Manager or as Sales is compulsory
  • Client focused
  • Strong Team Spirit
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Able to analyse challenges and opportunities
