You will have the opportunity to be a part of the Innovation Technology team, supporting the technical development of Tire Information Systems, both for passenger car and truck applications.
In this position, you will :
Be responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of core algorithms for next-generation tire / vehicle sensors.
Work with other partners such as hardware and software validation teams to take complex algorithms from proof of concept all the way to fully formed products.
Support joint development projects with external partners and customers.
Coordinate technology scouting activities in the areas of sensors, edge processing, IoT.
To join our team, you will need :
Experience and skills :
Experience in Magic Formula tire models, FTire, MF-Swift, or CDTire Modeling experience
Knowledge of tire model fitting routines from Wheel Force Transducer data
Experience performing vehicle dynamics simulation
Knowledge of control theory and vehicle dynamics
MATLAB, Python Coding experience is required
Experience dSpace rapid prototyping is preferred
Background in system diagnosis and prognosis algorithm development and integration
Experience bringing algorithm from model to target environment, including verification in the vehicle
Prefer experience with CarSim or other vehicle dynamics modeling software
CAN and LIN communication protocol knowledge is a significant asset
Master’s degree in mechanical / electrical engineering or equivalent required. PhD degree desired
English is mandatory. German and / or French are considered a plus.
2-4 years of experience in automotive signal processing applications / electronics.
