We are looking for an IT Cloud Engineer (m / f) .
YOUR TASKS Designing and developing Cloud IT Infrastructure for our innovative payment solution Administrating the Mercedes pay Cloud platform (Servers / Containers, Storage, Network, Firewalls and Databases) Being responsible for Cloud management including system monitoring and reporting, defining and monitor quality gates, performance and failure analysis as well as optimization of the Cloud platform Supporting Software Development and DevOps with technical expertise related to Cloud Cooperating with external service providers and Cloud Partners (AWS and AWS Partners) REQUIREMENTS BSc in computer science, technical or related discipline, or equivalent work experience Results-
oriented, high energy, and self-motivated Creative thinker and analytical problem-solver Strong knowledge of current Cloud trends and migrations strategies (AWS specific) Good understanding of Cloud Architecture Patterns related to High Availability and Scalability Delivers Cloud recommendations in a clear, concise, and audience-
specific format Programming skills in common languages (e.g.
Java, Python, Ruby, Perl, bash) Experience with Linux operating systems Excellent English communication skills (written and oral), with a focus on translating technically complex issues into simple, easy to understand concepts Able to work as part of a team with effective communication and leadership skills DESIRABLES Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator on Associate level) Familiarity with common AWS native services (Route53, SQS, Auto Scaling, VPC, App Mesh) Kubernetes, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Puppet knowledge Experience / Knowledge of DevOps (GitLab) PostgreSQL Clustering Advanced networking skills Virtualization knowledge Application Performance Management (NewRelic / Dynatrace)
