Category Manager SCM Vodafone Business Unified Communications & Connectivity (UCC)

As a Category Manager SCM VB- UCC you will create and implement the material category strategy ( MCS ) for Unified Communications & Connectivity (UCC).
You will lead negotiation of the contracts in this area interacting with Product Teams and the local SCM teams across Vodafone Group.
You will deliver the optimal cost of ownership, create savings and centrally managed spend target whilst securing the delivery of projects in accordance with global strategy.
Next to that you enthusiastically support global contract management and governance structures. This is an exciting role for an experienced, innovative and self-driven procurement professional with a track record of delivering ambitious targets in Telecom and Enterprise related Procurement.
Optimise supplier performance through strong commercial management, ensuring business value is delivered & competitive advantage is maintained
Drive supplier selection and recommendation : commercial strategy, negotiations, savings, cost modelling, contract with suppliers
Develop and support the category strategy for UCC, create innovatice commercial models and supplier roadmap
Build and maintain a strong partnership with Vodafone’s stakeholders at Group and local market level and ensure continuous alignment with the category strategy;
Manage relationship with key internal stakeholders (Products & Solutions, Line Of Business, Technology Enterprise Services, Supply Chain) at Group and local level
Work agile, take part / lead cross-category and / or cross-company projects
It would be nice if you have..
Solid experience in Telco business and in particular in Unified Communications & Connectivity and / or Connectivity business in a B2B context
Specific market / products / supplier knowledge in one or several of the following areas : IPVPN, SD-WAN, Unified Communication as a Services (UCaaS), Communication Platform as a Service (CPaaS), IP Telephony, Contact Center
Excellent negotiation skills and commercial acumen (in particular in the context of procurement / strategic sourcing ) and strong communication and persuasion skills
You must have
Master / MBA degree or equivalent
Excellent English, other languages (Italian, Spanish, German) are a plus
Strong analytical skills and ability to conceptualize
Ability to work across different cultures & hierarchies
Able to work in an international, functional matrix environment with a certain degree of ambiguity #groupresourcing
