My client is a leading Investment Management company, international key-player in the fund market. I am looking for their next Fund Administration Accounting Manager to support the Accounting Team and follow-up the growth of the Luxembourg Office and the launch of new financial products.
In this job creation, you manage two fund Analysts / Controllers and you directly report to the Finance Executive team based in the USA.
The next logical evolution is the become their next Conducting Officer, that is to say the referent professional regarding all accounting and finance matters.
Your role is to manage the oversight of day to day accounting and administration duties of all Luxembourg domiciled funds (UCITS and AIFs) and the fund administration of the group based in the USA.
You are the point of contact for internal and external parties regarding regulatory matters, and you make sure all requirements of internal and external clients are well managed.
Among your significant responsibilities, you ensure CSSF demands and queries, and keep maintaining a strong collaboration with fund boards and financial authorities.
In this dynamic and analytical position, you also deal with regulatory, tax and market evolutions. You participate in the valuation processes of the different funds, while ensuring their compliance towards local accounting policies and procedures.
In a more strategical point of view, you bring all your expertise to analyze, review and take justified decisions validating or not new private funds.
You support new financial product development initiatives, you review the reports from shareholders, and you respond to client needs and questions.
As the office is growing, you take part and lead specific projects and you are responsible for the technical and professional development of your team.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 8 years' experience in the fund industry, with expertise in local fund products (UCITS and AIFs).
You have knowledge in risk management and tax issues as well as fund regulations and reporting requirements. Proactive and hands-on, you lead ad-hoc projects, participate in the business development and improve processes.
You have good communication skills (English mandatory, any other language is an asset) and have an entrepreneurial spirit.
