Your new company, the Production Support Team acts as a central point of contact for all internal business users, working to answer all IT support needs.

The service desk provides 1st and 2nd line support for all IT and business systems.

The server infrastructure is virtualised using VMware and runs a mixture of Windows 2012 / 2016 while our desktops and laptops run Windows 10 and Microsoft 365.

The IT department handles all aspects of technology, including PC's, servers, audio-visual, fixed and mobile telecommunications.

IL looking for a IT service desk engineer.

This role is a key part of the global support team providing hands on support to our Luxembourg office.

Alongside this onsite support, the role also works within the global team offering remote support and regular travelling other European offices will be key.

You will be the only member of IT based within the Luxembourg office, as such we are looking for someone who can thrive working independently as well as part of a global IT team.

Your new role Vendor management, ordering of PC Equipment Interfacing with 3rd Parties to resolve support issues Microsoft Windows 10 Microsoft 365 Basic networking fundamentals PC Hardware & Peripherals (Dell / Lenovo) PC Imaging and software deployment, MS InTune Oobe MDM Software - Apple iOS Configuration & Troubleshooting, MS InTune Hybrid Azure Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange and Office 365 Administration Remote Access, VPN & VDI, Global Protect VPN Video Conferencing, ideally using Cisco Video Codec and Zoom Conferencing Technology ServiceNow Ticketing System - desirable Cloud and on-premise bespoke application support - desirable Cisco IP Telephony & Telephone PBX Administration - desirable What you'll need to succeed Minimum of 5 years previous experience in a Production Support Role is critical Strong customer service - displays commitment to resolving problems with a "can-do", customer-focused attitude Experience working within an ITIL Environment A team player with a good sense of humour a reliable, motivated, proactive and extremely organised individual who exhibits a strong willingness to learn quickly in a demanding environment Ability to work independently as well as manage team projects to a deadline Ability to prioritise workloads, multitask and manage multiple competing deadlines Flexible working hours along with the ability to work outside normal business hours on an as-needed basis Proven ability to take ownership of issues and collaborate with a global team to achieve expedient resolution
