Your Role

The outreach officer drives and oversees the outreach strategy and activities, which includes establishing and maintaining strong relations with the industry, the MIT and the SCALE network.

The outreach officer reports to the LCL director.

Main accountabilities :

Develops and maintains strong relationships with corporate partners for sponsored research projects and partnership programs,

Secures and maintains the exchange with the MIT and other SCALE members,

Supports the educational programmes that relate to outreach activities,

Organises partnerships events, the eXplore conference, roundtables, industry seminar series, and tailor made courses,

Supports the scientific and teaching team of the LCL in developing and implementing the full range of outreach activities for different stakeholders and audiences,

Investigates on and assesses future developments and trends of LCL disciplines,

Benchmarks best practices of outreach activities,

Liaises closely with all internal stakeholders involved in outreach activities,

Involves in setting up and maintaining the CRM tool,

Travelling abroad Luxembourg might be requested on an occasional basis,

Supports outreach activities at the faculty level.

Your Profile

Master’s degree in business administration or other relevant disciplines and / or professional experience in outreach and project management

Proven relationship management experience in developing and maintaining industry networks

Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management industry is considered as an advantage

Ability to work in an international, multicultural and multilingual environment

Team player with strong organisation and self-management skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build positive relationships at a number of levels

Fluency in English and either French or German is required; knowledge of the other language is considered as an advantage.
