Participate and lead projects to implement new applications and innovative solutions
Elicit business requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, user stories, scenarios, business analysis, competitive product analysis or task and workflow analysis
Document or map business processes targeted for change both current and future state, as well as the next steps and other related outcomes
Drive opportunities for business process improvement and propose solutions.
Closely work together with Software architects and developers
Degree in information technology, business information systems or similar degree
Experience in the Intellectual Property sector is an asset
Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. PMBOK, Prince2) and agile software development methodologies (e.g. SCRUM, KANSAN)
Excellent analytical and conceptual skills and aptitude for problem solving
Excellent verbal and written communication, including presentation skills
Ability to work within high-performing virtual teams and highly collaborative
Fluent spoken and written English (German and / or French language skills are an asset)
At least 5 years of experience as IT business analyst, IT project manager or similar role
