DESCRIPTION

Amazon's Global Specialty Fulfilment (GSF) is seeking a Program Manager to support fast-paced real estate-expansion and effective portfolio management.

Successful candidates will be natural self-starters who are comfortable leading large and complex facility projects. Your superior communication skills, including your proven ability to successfully influence and negotiate with external / internal business partners, will be leveraged to meet organizational capacity demands.

Ideal candidates will be analytically minded and have experience in managing large capital projects and aggressive schedule commitments.

capital projects simultaneously.

Core responsibilities :

  • Work backwards from the customer to build, scale and execute processes that help deliver fast, frugal and innovative real estate solutions for current and future GSF EU expansion initiatives
  • Plan, direct, supervise and control the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, policy-related and administrative functions of the assigned program and projects
  • Establish strong relationships with transaction / asset management, finance, legal, public policy, public relations, engineering, operations and construction teams
  • Negotiate and interface with third party vendors and contractors
  • Create, justify and manage budgets and service procurement
  • Identify, analyse, and recommend real estate investments to senior leadership
  • Stay current on long range planning and provide proactive market advice and acquisition guidance
  • Monitor the life cycles of existing real estate leases and give timely guidance to senior leadership on building continuity
  • Manage the idle asset portfolio to ensure minimal dead space in the network
  • Be a suitable candidate to take on a managerial role as the team grows to meet expansion targets
