C.A based in Luxembourg. Fluency in French and English is required.
Amazon Pay enables Amazon customers to use the payment methods stored in their Amazon account to pay for goods and services on websites and mobile applications that accept Amazon Payments.
Key job responsibilities
This role will involve facilitating sales deals and relationships with strategic merchants across Europe as well as channel partners including payment service providers, service integrators and e-commerce providers.
The right candidate has continuously exceeded sales targets and brings successful experience in business development, a keen interest in e-commerce customer experience, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
Scope and responsibility :
Drive incremental revenue, transaction payments volume as well as buyer and merchant awareness through merchant acquisitions in a defined territory or industry vertical.
Identifying and converting new merchants to work with Amazon Pay.
Develop and execute sales activities which create significant value to merchant’s business and to Amazon customers
Operate in a fast-moving environment, you will have full responsibility of your performance and achieving your objectives.
Develop a deep understanding of other Amazon products and services such as Selling on Amazon, Fulfillment by Amazon, Amazon Advertising and AWS, and leverage that understanding to create new opportunities.
Be accountable for auditing and reporting on key inputs and outputs in Salesforce and other internal reporting systems.
Prepare business analysis for the senior management team for their approval regarding progress and roadblocks to closing new customers.
5+ years of successful sales or business development experience, preferably in the ecommerce or payments industries, with demonstrable success in exceeding targets.
Exceptional customer focus.
Experience in building relationships with and driving revenue growth from existing clients / partners, including experience in the EU.
Very good written and verbal presentation skills
Native or at native level French is essential, Spanish and Italian a plus.
Must have experience of board level summaries and presentations.
Broad range of skills from high level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution.
Analytical approach to problem solving and a track record of driving results through continuous improvement.
Precise attention to detail and innate desire for excellence in all endeavours that is infectious and sets the bar for the team.
Strong undergraduate degree required.
Experience in SaaS and web site technology is advantageous (e.g. Prestashop, Magento, etc.).
