The Seller Engagement for Restricted Products (SERP) and Dangerous Goods (DG) team is looking for a Program Manager within their Seller Enforcement, Appeals and DG Classification division.

This role will be based in Luxembourg.

You will be responsible for leading and managing the Restricted Products seller enforcement and appeal programs for the Netherlands.

In addition to managing communications, enforcement actions, reporting, and quality assurance, you will work to promote transparency and understanding of Restricted Products policies, including assessing seller plans of action in response to enforcement actions.

You will be responsible for minimizing the number of sellers on the Amazon website who actively and consistently attempt to list restricted products.

You will also be responsible for delivering medium to large-scale projects, improving processes, gathering requirements from business and legal stakeholders, coordinating operational workflow for the program, supporting tech initiatives that have a significant, measurable impact on the Supplier Experience, while enabling optimization of Compliance Operations’ processes (ticketing, manual classification and supplier follow-

up) to drive classification accuracy and efficiency. The Manager will work closely with away team resources supporting worldwide DG classification activities.

This role requires strong attention to detail, solid work ethic and drive, high judgment, the ability to work independently and with primary stakeholders to solve complex medium and large scale issues, the skill to manage both with and without authority, the ability to recommend solutions to various problems, and excellent communication skills.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Creating, defining, and managing policies while partnering with global and local partner (including Legal and business teams) to gather requirements and ensure alignment on priorities, metrics for success, and operational and risk controls.
  • Coordinating and ensuring quality assurance for the program’s operational workflow.
  • Managing the program roadmap for coverage and expansion.
  • Making recommendations to leadership on opportunities for risk mitigation.
  • Proactively engaging with business and technical leadership to understand, conceptualize, and improve controls, solutions, and technical architecture.
  • Balancing customer experience against risk management concerns when making recommendations or developing requirements for control.
  • Serving as a primary program escalation and contact point for seller enforcement issues related to prohibited products on the NL website.
  • Working to promote transparency and understanding of Restricted Products policies, including assessing seller plans of action in response to enforcement actions.
  • You will be responsible for minimizing the number of sellers on the Amazon platform who actively and consistently attempt to list restricted products.

  • Develop Supplier help content for new marketplaces through regulation analysis, and improve and maintain existing material so that they are up-
  • to-date and answering Suppliers’ needs.

  • Develop, Create (for new marketplaces) and Improve exemption sheets as applicable so that Suppliers can provide DG classification information for SDS-exempted product types.
  • Support (review, content input) internal and external DG training material developed by the Worldwide Learning Organization (WWLO) training team, providing improved DG guidelines.
