To reinforce it's existing team, the central administration is looking for a Application Support - Web Developer (gn*)
As a member of the Application team, you will participate in the development, support and integration of internally developed as also third party applications.
On our web-based applications you'll be responsible for maintenance, development, bug fixing and end-user support as well as for the supervision of external companies developing for the UL.
Maintain websites and servers to meet user needs.
Maintain, configure and troubleshoot web servers
Participate in the analysis of the expressed needs and requested features
Adhering to a scrum agile process to develop features iteratively.
Participate in the technical specifications analyses and write program code
Check, comment and validate the code written by other colleagues
Prepare test protocols and validation
Support data migration as needed
Create technical documentation as well as the user documentation
Propose ideas for system improvements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience in Web or software development
Ability to learn new programming languages, technologies and concepts
Knowledge of, AngularJS, C#.Net, XML, HTML5, CSS, Java, SQL and experience in working with CMS, LMS or frameworks are a plus
Oral / written communication skills in French and English
Being helpful, respectful, team oriented and keeping others informed
Aware of standards and best practices. You produce quality code.
