The EventInnovation Specialist role sits within the Marketing & Customer Experienceteam and has a global remit. The Event Innovation Specialist will bringmarketing to the public, interacting with potential customers and demonstratingour company’s solutions and service, through organisation of venues and virtualevents, the role ensures the smooth operation of marketing efforts, fromplanning to implementation.

Based inour HQ in Luxembourg, the role will assume responsibility for all GEB B2Bclient and broker events plus new marketing projects.

We areexpecting you to be very well-organized, experienced in project management andcompetent in agency / vendor management.

Stakeholder communication skills, goodtime management and attention to detail are a must! State of the art experienceof compliance, procurement processes and legal contract management isimportant.

KeyResponsibilities :

  • Understandrequirements, objectives, and details of each event;
  • Understandcorporate clients, brokers and network-partners needs;
  • Translatebusiness objectives into event implementations and business networkingopportunities;
  • Brainstormand implement event plans and concepts;
  • Handlingbudgeting and invoicing;
  • Negotiatesponsorship deals in an effectively manner;
  • Planand organize events with attention to financial and time constraints;
  • Closecollaboration with main stakeholders’ group (communication, procurement, andsales & distribution);
  • Liaiseand negotiate with vendors (catering, decorators, musicians, photographers,lights and sound technicians, designers etc.);
  • Carefullyhandle logistics and coordinate all event operations (bookings and inspectionsof venues, invitations, food, drinks etc.);
  • Trackthe overall event expenses regularly and use project management tools;
  • Useefficiently given budget and meet deadlines;
  • Obtainpermits and keep updated on event regulation in place (Covid-19);
  • Offersolutions to resolve problems in a timely manner;
  • Updatesenior management and align with Marketing and Comms teams;
  • Developevent feedback surveys e.g. MS Forms;
  • Handlepost-event reports, share learnings and insights, evaluate event’s success

    Qualifications

    The idealcandidate will have :

    Degreein Event Management, Hospitality, Public Relations and Marketing

  • Atleast 5 years of experiences in similar B2B position is required;
  • Experiencein global or international organizations, with scope across differentgeographies is required;
  • Excellentknowledge of digital project management tools and proficient in various eventsoftwires;
  • Excellentnetworking, and interpersonal skills;
  • Demonstratedability to take initiative and interact with all levels of management;
  • Ableto work independently but driven by a strong team spirit. Collaboration,alignment and communication between different teams are crucial;
  • Enjoyworking in a changing and fast-paced intercultural environment;
  • Strongability to think strategically, creatively and out-of-the-box ;
  • Proactiveand solution-oriented; make it happen attitude and pioneering spirit;
  • Result-drivenand able to measure and evaluate success;
  • Possessan eye for design and aesthetics and able to match these with a corporateidentity;
  • Stronganalytical and project management experience;
  • Riskmanagement experience;
  • Multi-tasker,good time management and highly organised;
  • Demonstratedflexibility and adaptability;
  • Abilityto manage resources and budgets effectively and efficiently;
  • Analyticalskills to forecast and identify trends and challenges;
  • Strongcommunication skills in writing, speaking and presenting;
  • Fluentin English at business level, native English is a plus like any other languagewould be considered an asset
