Purpose

  • As (Associate) Coordination Officer (internally referred to as Analyst / Officer Coordination), you will be responsible for developing and coordinating the Unit’s data analysis and reporting activities and execute coordination duties in the area of Business Continuity, thus ensuring a proactive management of the directorate’s resources.
  • Operating Network

  • You will report to the Head of Unit and work in close collaboration with all members of the Division, You will also be in contact with other departments of the Finance Directorate.
  • Accountabilities

  • Provide data analyses, impact analysis, summaries, briefings and perform the review of notes for the Management Committee related to the activities of the Unit (in particular HR, Logistics, Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and budget)
  • Be responsible for the managerial reporting for activities like : Human Capital management, BCP, Logistics and Budget, and ensure the underlying data quality (completeness, validity, timeliness consistency and integrity), in particular related to human resources and cost accounting
  • Coordinate the BCP processes for the FI directorate by contributing to and ensuring the consistency of FI departments’ business continuity plans, contribute to the developing or modernising of existing BCP plans, liaising with business management to enhance contingency plans, and ensure monitoring of the achievement of related trainings and exercises;
  • Build, prepare and maintain various resource statistics, forecasts, simulations and ad-hoc reports (e.g. resource needs models, consolidation and follow up of data on time allocation to different products and activities, ex-ante and ex-post pricing of FI activities, vacancies, recruitments, probationary periods);
  • Monitoring the access rights to trading platforms taking into consideration staff movements to ensure that the required access rights are always available and the updates in policies related to accesses are coherent and implemented;
  • Support the PRI team in reviewing existing Unit’s processes and procedures and develop / implement improvements and automation when applicable;
  • Contribute to the achievement of the overall Unit objectives with the involvement in cross-thematic projects and initiatives aimed at ensuring an effective and efficient service for all FI activities;
  • Provide input and advice to FICOOR Management, whenever required, for FI participation in inter-directorate working groups in the domains related to planning, resources and information and perform analysis of impact on FI activities of Bank-wide initiatives in the area covered by the unit.
  • Qualifications

  • University degree preferably in Finance, Business Administration or Statistics
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in a similar analytical role, preferably in another financial institution and in areas related to Business Continuity and / or Resources Planning and Management
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Experience with administration of trading platforms (e.g. Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters) would be desirable
  • Strong drafting and reviewing skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise and meet deadlines, with strong result and customer orientation
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office tools, in particular Excel. Good knowledge of building reports in SAP Business Objects is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of IT applications such as : Sharepoint, PeopleSoft Time & Labour would be a distinct asset.
  • Understanding of the operational, institutional and political framework of the Bank and the EIB’s Group Operational Plan
  • Excellent knowledge of English and good command of French (*). Knowledge of other EU languages would be an asset.
