Job based in LuxembourgAmazon Freight - Amazon's newly launched external facing freight service - is hiring for Account Executive join us in building the next big thing at Amazon.

Amazon Freight is a start-up team within Amazon Transportation Services in Europe, which is responsible for many of Amazon’s best-in-class logistics and transportation operations.

Amazon Freight allows Shippers to use Amazon’s transportation network to transport products in bulk across Europe. This is an innovative technology-driven solution for the shipping needs of small and large businesses and is scaling rapidly as an offering.

We are looking to hire Account Executive positions as part of our recently built EU Business Development Team. This person will be responsible for recruiting European Shippers onto the program, owning and growing Shipper engagements, and ensuring a great Shipper experience.

The successful candidate will be results driven, highly analytical, Customer obsessed, and ready to roll up the sleeves to grow this business.

A day in the life

We are looking to hire a Business Developer, responsible for unlocking and growing our portfolios through sales development, relationship building, engagement activities and great customer / shipper experience.

The successful candidate will analyse market data to identify trends / opportunities, and utilize an extensive network of relationships within the relevant industry to gather market intelligence, and execute on business development opportunities.

Job responsibilities

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

Identify new segments and unlock new customer base with best-in-class service.

Maintain a high level of engagement from our *Customer* and proactively identify the challenges they are facing.

Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the portfolio.

Be the voice of the customer (Shipper) to guide product development and iterations.

Identify and lead new projects or initiatives to solve customer pain points and improve shipper experience.Your Profile# Bachelor’s degree

Prior work experience within a commercial role (Sales, Account Management, Product Management, Business Development)

Fluent in English and Italian languages (written and verbal communication)

Solid knowledge in MS Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint )

Experience in developing strategies / tactical solutions with a medium to high degree of complexity across customer needs, technologies, industry constraints, and company goals, navigating through ambiguity

Strong business acumen, analytical skills and integrityPLEASE SUBMIT YOUR IN ENGLISHPreferred Qualifications# Master’s degree

Experience within the eCommerce, Technology, Retail or Fashion industries

Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach

Experience selling nascent products / services into new markets

Other EU languages are a plus

Experience in at least one of the following : transportation, logistics, operations, financial analysis, retail buying, retail planning & allocation, consulting, negotiation, supply chain

Experience using SalesForce, SQL, HTML, PowerBI, Python, Alchemy, Tableau, Google Analytics
