We are seeking a driven, dynamic, organized, self-starter, and experienced leader to join our Training & Certification (T&C) Team in the role of Global Delivery Readiness Manager.

You will be responsible for executing on the strategies & programs defined by our corporate HQ by ensuring our regional T&C teams across the globe are ready to deliver upon.

This includes partnering across T&C functions, creating & managing delivery roadmaps, ensuring adherence to GTM plans, as well as eliminating communication gaps within the field.

This role also includes leading the AWS Authorized Instructor Program (AAI) and executing a world class global instructor readiness program that enables and supports a fast growing community of AWS trainers.

The right candidate has proven Release Management or Field Readiness expertise, outstanding written and verbal communication skills, successful experience managing teams, and a passion for customers and cloud computing technologies.

  • Lead the deployment of systems, processes, roadmaps and tools to enhance communications between Corporate & Global Delivery teams, ensuring a smooth transition of programs from inception to delivery
  • Collaborate with regional delivery leaders to create and leverage best practices in order to roll out training programs to meet the regional demands
  • Partner with T&C Strategy & Ops, Product Management and Product Marketing to ensure aligned routes-to-market are communicated appropriately to & executed on by the Global Delivery Teams
  • Communicate & lead the roll out product-specific GTM plans in advance of launches as well as create and manage Delivery readiness plans
  • Define the global and regional Instructor related programs to accelerate the recruitment and development of the AAI community
  • Responsible for Train-the-Trainer events and Instructor On-boarding process
  • Responsible for the development of best in class learning experiences and maintain the highest levels of skills and competence for the community of AWS Authorized Instructors
  • Identify and deploy systems and tools to enhance communications, continue to build the Instructor community and constantly improve the Instructor experience
  • Work with regional Instructor Managers to create and leverage best practices in order to both grow the instructor base and also achieve maximum customer satisfaction
  • Be the main POC between T&C HQ & Global Delivery teams, including AWS Authorized Training Partners
  • Travel may be required up to 30% of your time
  • 8+ years relevant work experience in global Delivery, Field & / or instructor readiness including authorization and certification of large communities of technical experts in the Information Technology industry
  • 8+ years Management experience in the IT industry, preferably in Training & Certification
  • Proven experience logically planning and setting priorities, identifying and resolve problems to produce measurable results
  • Organizational and project management skills
  • International experience and experience working on cross-functional teams
  • AWS Certified Associate level
  • Recent experience in a fast-paced, multinational technology company with cloud based products
  • Ability to effectively work with a variety of organizations, management levels, cultures, and personalities
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Amazon Web Services or Cloud Computing concepts.
  • AWS Certified Professional level
  • Meets / exceeds Amazon's leadership principles requirements with this role
  • Meets / exceeds Amazon's functional / technical depth and complexity for this role
