Senior ProcurementOfficer (m / f)

Your responsibilities :

We are looking for a Senior Procurement Officer to manage theprocurement function of EY Luxembourg, vendor relationships and arrange purchasesfor our company’s operations.

Your responsibilities include, among others :

Performing tenders, evaluating vendors,negotiating contracts and preparing management reports (e.g. on orders, costs,budget) in compliance with the EY’sCode of conduct and the firm’s internal processes.

For this role, you will need to have a deep knowledge of procurement & negotiation technics, strong analytical skills, the ability to summarizecomplex matters to enable decision making by management, negotiate win-win situations considering internal needs vs. overall costs.

Furthermore, you will need to review regularlythe existing contracts, check agreed service levels, follow appropriateinvoicing of the contracts on an ongoing basis, and report non-compliance to themanagement team.

Other tasks include the coordination of theadministrative procurement processes such as vendor due diligence as well asbudget follow-up in close collaboration with the Finance and Risk Managementdepartments.

In the context of managing our procurementfunction, you will also be in involved in specific tasks and internal projects,data and process analysis as well as updating internal policies.

This will require intense interaction with internal clients at alllevels, departments as well as suppliers. You will report to the director ofoperations and the management team.

Your profile :

You hold a master’s degree inBusiness Administration, Economics or similar.

  • You have a minimum of 7 years of experiencein a similar working environment;
  • You are fluent in English and French.German and any additional language skills such as Luxembourgish will beconsidered as an asset;
  • You have a thorough command of MS Officeapplications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • You show a strong analytical mindset;
  • You demonstrate well developed writing,communication and presentation skills;
  • You display the ability to communicateeffectively and act as a team player;
  • You are organized, flexible and able tomanage several tasks;
  • You have a high degree of integrity
  • You appreciate working in a highly dynamic& international environment.
