The opportunity We are currently looking for Quality Engineer GMS to join our Mold Plant in Luxembourg. On this position, your main responsibilities will be :

To organize and lead quality improvement in the production, assure conformance with customer requirements.

To analyse root causes, to implement short term and long-term action items as well as maintaining documentation of all quality related processes and ;

Main Tasks :

Maintain and improve quality system and analysis of quality data to various quality certifications and standards.

Monitor and audit processes and make improvements in quality to assure targets are being met and exceeded.

Work with the logistics and production departments and with external partners to identify and resolve quality issues.

Drive corrective actions when quality issue arises and monitors activities for corrective actions are performed.

Engage and train associates to assure internal quality, quality improvement and support the production team with problem solving methodologies on shop floor to avoid customer complaints.

Analyse root cause and implement short term and long-term action plans to ensure to provide the expected quality to our customers.

Team up with the production and logistics team to identify and implement quality improvements.

Regularly update the management on progress and current issues on a regular ;

To join our team you will need :

Education : The candidate should have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering, Quality Management or an equivalent field.

Languages : Fluency in English and French is required.

Experience and skills :

At least 2 years of experience in Quality in a manufacturing environment, ideally in the automotive industry.

Ideally, certification as ISO TS 16949 auditor.

Proficiency in verbal and written communication to all levels of the ;

On-the-field application of problem solving methods and statistical tools such as : Six Sigma, 8D, root cause analysis.

Experience in leading internal product and process ;

Willing to think outside the box’ and work individually and in team ;
