Senior Private Banking Relationship Manager - CCA105 A new position, to join a new team, for a new business line for a leading international Private Bank!Greenfield is pleased to be representing, on an exclusive basis, a leading international banking organization.

With a strong global presence and a robust and long-standing heritage within the private banking sector, our client is a well-

established and respected organisation with an excellent reputation and brand positioning. Their Luxembourg-based office has served as a strategic operational hub for their European interests for more than a decade, however until now all commercial, product and client service operations have originated within the originating country of the bank.

The opportunity : The decision has been reached to establish a full-scale Private Banking operation in Luxembourg encompassing an initial team of c.

15 banking professionals. The Context : The private banking relationship manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationship clients and prospect clients.

The relationship manager should know and understand the legal and regulatory environment and requirements and comply with them.

It is also expected that the relationship manager acts with ethics, transparency and competence towards clients in order to identify and develop business opportunities and to ensure and promote a long term, trustworthy and sustainable relationship.

Duties : Establish and maintain business relationship with clients and prospect clients providing them appropriate level of services and information on the services rendered and products offered by the BankKnow, understand and maintain (him)herself up-

to-date to the relevant laws and regulations applicable to Bank (e.g. AML / CTF, MiFID, Data Protection, CRS etc)Perform on-

going basis customer due diligence, collecting and obtaining the necessary information and documents to establish and maintain business relationship and carry out transactionsCollect information on client’s knowledge and experience in the investment field, financial situation, investment objectives, ability to bear losses and risk tolerance in order to allow the Bank provide clients and prospect clients with adequate investment services, including reception, transmission and execution of trade orders and investment advicesManage relationships always in compliance with the applicable laws, regulations and guidelines, policies and procedures set out by the BankLiaise with the advisory team for receiving marketing materials and investment services guidelines to be provided to clientsLiaise and support other stakeholders, such as the advisory team, middle office, back office, the risk and compliance functions, when managing such relationshipsSupervise and ensure that day-

to-day bank account and investment services activitiesSupport Clients in providing them with documents and information regarding the business relationship, particularly concerning bank accounts, payment services and investment servicesProvide clients with authorised analysis, investment advice and marketing materials, and request support from the advisory team whenever needed to meet client’s expectationsReceive trade orders from clients, perform the suitability controls, transmit the orders for execution according to the best interests of clients and maintain clients informed about the executionLiaise and work together with the Compliance and the Risk function to obtain advice and to address questions related to regulatory requirements and risk managementMaintain good understanding of the latest developments of the industry, economic and political developments, updates and new laws and regulations in order to maintain a high-

quality service to clientsPlan actions and measure in line with commercial goals, meet expectations and deliverable framework Desirable Skills / Qualifications : Experience within the Banking sector for over 10 years, ideally with a Brazilian market focusPossession of an extensive experience in financial products and services such as equities, fixed income, funds, regulations within a Brazilian context, acquiring strong knowledge in International Capital Markets, Financial Management (profitability, yield, return to investment calculations, etc.

and Compliance RegulationsStrong Knowledge of the European and Luxembourg law and regulation (e.g. AML / CTF, MiFID, Data Protection, CRS etc), and also knowledge of the relevant laws and regulations, (e.

g. Brazilian Foreign Exchange Regulations (Central Bank), Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) and Brazilian Federal Revenue (Receita Federal))CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or equivalent certification will be considered an assetThe position requires a robust commercial orientation, strong business acumen and the capacity to train other team membersThe right incumbent needs to have solid communication skills, to be self-

motivated, team spirited with a high level of integrity and self-disciplineFluency in Portuguese and English is imperativeAcademic degree in the fields of finance or economics.
