Identity and Access Management Manager

Job purpose

You will be responsible for managing policies that govern permissions and how information is accessed and secured. You will oversee the automated and manual provisioning and de-

provisioning of access to data and data repositories.

The Manager will assist in the selection and implementation IAM systems and will be responsible for assisting with development, implementing and maintaining firm-

wide and departmental policies, standards, procedures and guidelines related to identity and access management.

The Manager will possess thorough knowledge of how the firm manages electronic data and exercise judgment in handling exception requests while accomplishing these and other critical functions.

You will have to manage the IAM Engineering team that is charged with managing the applications and platforms as it relates to security configuration, security models and integration.

The position includes the configuration, implementation, integration and patching / upgrade of the solutions.

You will provide management over the third level support for the areas of responsibility and create process / procedures for areas of responsibility.

You will participate in the definition of access profiles for the entire company and the content in the different applications / solutions.

IAM manager will be responsible for assisting with integration news applications / solutions used by the firm in the IAM tool for implementing the automated provisioning and de-provisioning of accesses.

Finally, you will also train / assist data owners or applications owners in their respective roles and assist internal audit in their role of review of access.

The key responsibilities of this position include :

  • This position will be responsible for monitoring the operational tasks and ensuring that requests and tickets are being completed within established SLA's / Timeframe
  • Provides a status report of achievements and challenges with explanations for a roll-up report to leadership.
  • Leading or completing IAM / IAG projects
  • Recommending continuous improvements as it relates to the team's customer experience, workflow, and inefficiencies
  • This position will also be responsible for instilling innovation, collecting improvements recommendations team members alike, and building a strategy to meet reasonable suggestions
  • Monitors and corrects issues with the tools managed within area of responsibility
  • This position will provide direction, development plans, performance reviews, and one on one meetings for each team member that discussing current performance, areas of improvements, issues / challenges, and new opportunities
  • This position will also include goal development and tracking, and performance management
  • Lead the hiring of team members FTE an / or contractors. While ensuring the staff possess the proper level of competencies and skills to complete the assigned tasks
  • Requirements to access to this function

  • Education requirements : Bachelor's degree in IT or related fields
  • Work experience requirements : at least 5 years of security administration and engineering sets of responsibilities, such as integration, developing of an application security models, managing service accounts, conducting routine maintenance activities, working in cross functional teams to implement new solutions
  • At least 5 years operating as a team lead in some fashion that is required to assign, track, and monitor work assigned for their team
  • Experience managing roles and reviews within an IAM / IAG product such as Omada, SailPoint IdentityIQ, or other similar products
  • Understanding of the identity lifecycle of users, systems, entitlements, applications and roles
  • A keen understanding of the process / procedures is required to ensure proper compliance with both internal and regulatory / industry requirements
  • Fluent in English and French (German will be considered as an advantage)
