The Faculty of Law, Economics, and Finance (FDEF) of the University of Luxembourg has an opening for an Assistant Professor (M / F) in Finance with a focus on innovation, or related fields in particular empirical finance.
The position at the Assistant Professor level follows University of Luxembourg’s tenure-track career scheme and a possibility of promotion will be given after 5 years upon positive evaluation.

The candidates shall teach in the newly created common first year of the master programs. In addition, the candidate shall teach in the risk management track of the Master of Banking and Finance.

The candidate shall show potential for highest quality research and publications in the top finance and / or economics journals.
Additional requirements include a PhD in Finance or Economics or related disciplines.
