Client Service Team Leader - Fund Accounting
Working as an integral part of one our cross functional Client Service Teams you will partner closely with some of our key clients to ensure the delivery of high quality issue and query resolution.
You will manage the day to day aspects of client relationships and perform core product functions as required to support high client satisfaction.
You will take responsibility for managing a high performing group of service supervisors and act as a key contact for complex query resolution.
Some of your key responsibilities will include :
Acting as the primary point of escalation for Systems, Operations, and Risk / Control for any client related issues and proactively managing the resolution process with frequent updates and satisfaction measures.
Filtering and escalating for client requests; Serve as an escalation point for client service issues and deliverables.
Providing guidance to manage and resolve incidents by having the capability to efficiently analyze the validity of transactions, valuation impacts, and any other portfolio impacting aspects such as portfolio hedging, performance fees, or dilution levies, while ensuring escalation of issues based on set tolerances.
Work closely with Client Service Relationship Managers to stay abreast of client goals and identify opportunities to expand client relationships.
Promote a cohesive team atmosphere through exhibiting strong leadership, effective communication, professionalism, and development of individual career paths
Oversee and ensure training and cross training of employees on relevant job functions to develop breadth and depth of knowledge.
Participate in inter departmental and cross Line of Business Project teams.
Complete and oversee the completion of the BBH annual performance review process.
Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to staff to improve individual and team performance. Manage performance issues and disciplinary process for employees falling below set expectations.
Lead and assist in implementing the coordination of new business and product implementations and conversions.
These are the key skills we will be looking for from applicants :
5+ years of Fund Accounting experience.
2+ years of supervisory experience.
Proven desire to deliver high quality client service.
A passion for the financial services world and a deep technical and analytical ability.
Creative problem solving skills including the ability to identify, recommend and implement solutions.
