A vacancy for a full time employee has arisen as Compliance Support Officer in the Compliance Team within FundRock.
Job Responsibilities :
As part of member of the team, the position actively supports the Compliance Officer in his function in :
the identification and evaluation of the compliance risks within FundRock;
the organisation, coordination and structuration of the compliance-related (de)centralized controls;
the control and monitoring of all measures taken to mitigate compliance risks;
the reporting to senior management and the Board of Directors of FundRock;
the support provided in all compliance matters within FundRock.
Ensure that necessary Compliance policies and procedures are in place in order to meet FundRock’s regulatory requirements.
Provide advice / guidance regarding Compliance matters and / or issues to FundRock’s staff, clients and / or delegates as needed.
Your Profile :
As member of the Compliance team, support the activities performed by the Compliance Officer in order to :
Ensure compliance of FundRock with all relevant laws, regulations, rules and professional standards;
Identify, assess, manage and monitor the compliance risks within FundRock;
Assist senior management in the management and control of the compliance risks;
Report appropriately to senior management on material issues;
Act as main point of contact point for local regulator or other relevant authorities, and coordination of requests;
Provide guidance and local training on compliance related matters;
Monitor and report on regulatory / compliance developments in Luxembourg;
Assist, inform and train the staff and senior management on regulatory and compliance related matters;
Develop and implement required internal Compliance policies and procedures
Degree in law, economics or finance
3 to 7 years’ experience in internal control (compliance / internal or external audit / operational risk or risk management)
Excellent written and verbal communication and analytical skills in English and French
Strong ability to work discretely. Confidentiality is crucial to the function
Must be proactive and self-sufficient
Ability to multi tasks and respect deadlines
Willing to take responsibility and accountability
Excellent organizational and inter-personal skills
Technical Knowledge :
Knowledge of Management Companies and Luxembourg investment funds regulatory environment;
Knowledge of UCITS and AIFMD Requirements.
