The EMEA Restricted Products program ensures safety and compliance across EU Amazon websites and we are looking for a Senior Program Manager to join the team based in Luxembourg office.

You will work in close cooperation with legal, business, operations and technology teams building strong partnerships to influence, solving complex problems to enable our current and future business models.

You will be a key contributor in building innovative solutions to ensure customer safety and mitigate legal risks. The role will also drive key strategic EU and global projects and will be responsible for the program’s vision and expansion as well as driving execution of goals and initiatives.

You should be able to operate successfully both strategically and tactically, and have a strong bias for action. You will have good business document writing skills catered to the leadership audience.

An ideal candidate will be customer focused, have a proven ability to think big with problem solving attitude, lead and drive medium to complex large scale cross-

functional regulatory initiatives and invent automated solutions.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage and prioritize daily operations of the program team
  • Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities
  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive regulatory and compliance initiatives
  • Manage escalations with strong bias for action
  • Build and develop escalation management framework
  • Work towards Restricted Products program vision and expansion
  • Write program or business review documents
  • Track and monitor performance against program goals, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Remain flexible to dynamic nature of Amazon’s business and be self-driven in pressure situations
  • Embrace constant change with flexibility and good grace which demands strong deliverables.
  • Manage defects and ensure implementation of controls to minimize compliance risks.
  • You will have a strong solutions focus and be comfortable working in an environment with high volume workload and not be afraid to roll up your sleeves
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 8+ years of experience in program management
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once and work under time pressure
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of program governance models
  • Excellent organizational skills with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
  • Demonstrate passion for problem solving and building innovative solutions
  • Exposure to work with business leadership
  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under time pressure
  • Ability to solve problems and drive efficiencies using metrics and information
  • Master’s degree in business
  • A globally approved certification in project management such as PMP
  • Knowledge of SQL to build data metrics independently
  • Mastery of project tracking tools and building process workflows
