Amazon seeks a talented Senior Program Manager to join the FBA Supply Chain team at its EU headquarter, based in Luxembourg and drive the expansion of the Dangerous Goods program for thousands of Selling Partners in Europe.

This program represents a pillar to sustain the growth of the FBA business in Europe. S / he will work in close partnership with WW FBA Teams (EU and NA), EU Customer Fulfilment (Trans, FC Ops), Product Compliance, Retail and Finance teams.

S / he will serve as a key member of the leadership team to define the program goals and deliver global deliverables.

The successful candidate will be passionate about Seller Experience, detail-oriented, with a strong business acumen and excel in creative problem solving and program management.

S / he will have a wide range of responsibilities including creating a vision for the Dangerous Goods program in EU FBA for the next 3-

5 years, scaling the program developing an excellent Seller Experience, driving continuous improvement by setting and achieving ambitious goals.

  • S / he will have credibility with leadership and will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, creatively solve complex issues;
  • in addition, the candidate will thrive in working with large data warehouse environments, has excellent verbal and written communication skills and is motivated by developing innovative and simplified solutions to help Sellers.

    Responsibilities include :

  • Set the vision for the Dangerous Goods Program for EU FBA Sellers
  • Engage with senior stakeholders in EU and NA to shape the vision of the program and report on progress
  • Scale the Dangerous Goods Program to thousands of Sellers, ideating and developing critical Seller facing features (i.e.
  • auto-enrollment, enable dangerous goods for pan-EU Sellers)

  • Liaise with Product Compliance teams to improve hazmat classification for millions of FBA offers
  • Reduce the number of Seller contacts related to Dangerous goods.
  • Define key business metrics and reports, set ambitious goals for the Program and drive results towards them. Use these as input for business reviews with senior management
  • Keys to success in this role include exceptional program management, strong communication and collaboration skills, and analytic skills.

    The candidate needs to be able to coordinate across multiple work streams, and be able to communicate clearly appropriate triggers and actions.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a Supply Chain / Operations discipline
  • 6+ years of experience in supply chain or operations
  • 6+ years of experience managing cross-functional international projects and programs with tight deadlines
  • Strong data extraction, analytical and problem solving skills; ability to work with large, complex data sets and familiarity with statistics or other analytical techniques; excel skills are required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, building relationships
  • Advanced degrees in Operations Management, Mathematics / Engineering, or an MBA with a quantitative focus
  • Excellent business judgment, strong written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common sense approach to getting things done
  • Proven ability to influence others, facilitate agreement among stakeholders with different interests
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment with a proven track record for delivering results on large, cross functional, international milestone projects
  • Willingness to roll up sleeves and do what needs to get done to consistently deliver results
  • Insists on highest standards- drives team and partners to deliver high quality products and scalable processes.
