Organisational and Conduct Compliance Manager

INGLuxembourg is looking for a full-time Organisational and Conduct ComplianceManager to support the current team.

The Organizational andConduct Compliance (OCC)team and the Employees Compliance and Ethics team (ECE)are new departments within Corporate Compliance.

On a local level, formateriality reasons, the OCC and ECE team are combined.

As Manager of Organizationaland Conduct Compliance team, your purpose is to manage risks arising from Unfair Customer Treatment, Conflictsof Interest, Financial Market and Investor’s Protection, Market Conduct,Anti-Competition, Organisational Conduct and Data Protection.

On the ethicalside, your purpose is to help ING managerisks arising from our norms, attitudes and behaviours related to riskawareness, risk-taking and risk management.

Your team shares acollective responsibility forall the end to end compliance 31 processes in place to identify, manage, reportand escalate the Compliance risks underyour remit.

The team will share responsibility to identify, manage, report andescalate local risks for your risk areas.

At the same time, your teamwill contribute to the shape of global policies and be responsible for draftingand implementing local guidelines and standards where additional local requirements do exist.

Your team keepstrack / oversight of the local implementation of all policy-driven requirementsby means of issue tracking, monitoring, Risk Dashboards, and other riskspecific reporting (regulatory and internal reporting) to internal stakeholdersincluding Corporate Compliance.

The team has ongoing interactionwith its correspondent team located at Business Line Compliance. The team willparticipate in the global OCC ECE community.

The OCC team will consist of 5 team members as partof the Compliance team.

You willhierarchically report into the local Head of Compliance.

What you'll do As OCC Manager

  • You have a clear view on how the compliance function supports ING inbeing an integrity-led bank; being compliant with applicable laws and regulationsand doing the right things the right way;
  • You lead the execution of activities aimed at mitigating the Compliancerisks under your remit;
  • You execute (global) complex investigations;
  • You are accountable for :
  • advisory activities (both client(segment) / deal related and in relation to underlying processes),

    training, awareness &communication, and

  • Compliance oversight including monitoring& reporting on OCC and ECE related risks;
  • You support, lead, strategize and develop the team at local levelincluding all related activities (e.g. HR related activities, performancemanagement);
  • You are a content matter expert, and decision maker responsible fortaking final decisions as well as for proposing solutions to be implemented;
  • You are accountable forthe roll-out, execution, uniformity and follow-ups of the risk-specific RiskAssessments to your country;
  • You support theCompliance QA team to execute the KCTs and challenge the 1st line KCTs, actingas a Subject Matter Expert where needed;
  • You identify, execute,monitor and report on local culture initiatives.

    Your work environment

    The OCC / ECE team workstogether based on knowledge and expertise, as well as the skill set needed tobest perform its job.

    Theteam is working with key internal stakeholders and offers an environment whichprovides a global overview on how the relevant OCC&ECE requirements andcontrols are embedded within the business at local level.

    TheOCC team provides an opportunity to manage relationships with externalstakeholders, regulators and supervisory institutions.

    How to succeed

  • You have aseasoned experienced manager profile with 8-10+ years in risk and or business area;
  • You are a naturalleader, with a strong track record of leadership with regards to integrity-relatedmatters;
  • You have experiencein leading and managing teams of high value specialists and proven record indeveloping talents;
  • You have a can do’mentality and are able to embrace challenges in a fast changing and complexenvironment;
  • You havean excellent level of English (verbal / written);
  • You have acurious and an innovative mindset;
  • You have excellentcollaboration skills and ability to work across functional and geographic lines;
  • You arefirm when needed and able to show flexibility when possible;
  • You have analyticalskills and sound judgement.
