In the next two years, we aim to double our headcount, and we are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our finance team headquartered in Luxembourg to oversee accounting processes locally as well as in France, UK and Canada.
The successful candidate will be based in the Luxembourg office and responsible for all accounting activities of the Tadaweb headquarters, as well as for all related subsidiaries.
By joining a young and dynamic company, your role will evolve alongside the company’s growth and you will participate in various projects, including the implementation of an ERP system and design of internal processes and controls.
Assist in growing the accounting team; including personal development, training and coaching.
Be responsible for all accounting activities for the Luxembourg headquarters and related subsidiaries (France, UK and Canada).
Prepare the monthly closings.
Manage all aspects of the daily accounting transactions (general, A / R, A / P, payroll, etc.)
Ensure existing policies are correctly, and consistently applied and proper accounting methods are used locally and at group level.
Drive implementation of new procedures and improve existing ones.
Maintain accurate and complete records, reconciliations and analyses and organizing accounting files and relevant archives.
Prepare statutory annual accounts in accordance with local GAAPs for all subsidiaries.
Provide support during the audits of all entities.
Participate in the intercompany elimination and consolidation process at group level.
Review weekly / monthly bank reconciliations and cash management.
Prepare and reconcile intercompany balances.
Review VAT and Corporate Income Tax declarations.
Assist in ad-hoc projects, such as ERP implementation.
Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or similar.
5 years of relevant work experience.
Excel is your buddy for life ;)
Prior experience in owning the accounting duties and coordinating closing procedures.
Knowledge of taxation (direct and indirect tax).
Knowledge of the Luxembourg rules and regulations (France, UK and Canada is an asset).
Excellent verbal and written communication in English and French.
Attention to details with high analytical skills.
Proactive mindset looking for opportunities to improve current processes.
