Amazon is looking for a smart, team-oriented, analytical key member to join the EU Retail team. This role will be responsible for identifying, scoping and managing both vendor facing and internally facing programs to ensure we optimize availability for our customers whilst delivering supply chain efficiencies that reduce fixed and variable costs within Amazon's supply chain.

The successful candidate will be skilled at gaining cross-functional support from internal and external teams while working autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment.

While the role is based in Luxembourg, its scope is for our European marketplaces.

Key Responsibilities for this Role :

  • Close collaboration with key vendors to improve their operational excellence, always looking to identify opportunities to scale and automate across vendors and marketplaces
  • Scoping, driving and delivering complex projects across multiple teams. You will define clear milestones and set the expectations of stakeholders effectively
  • Replicate best practice processes from other categories and countries to facilitate quick results
  • Partner with global teams to develop multi-stakeholder initiatives and drive global standardization.
  • Communicate ideas effectively and with influence (both verbally and in writing), within and outside the team
  • Work with frugality, discretion and efficiency with prioritization and good judgment. Look to identify and evaluate potential risks / obstacles and determine appropriate corrective action
  • QA new procedures or ways of working to ensure the highest quality.
  • 5+ years of relevant senior level experience in retail, operations, and / or business management / consulting with a proven track record of delivering results
  • Strong data analysis, problem solving and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • SQL skills
  • A technical degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics or operations
  • Proficient in one or more of the following languages in addition to English : German, French, Spanish, Italian
