We are not an average retailer and this is definitely not any average finance position. We are currently looking for a creative and forward-thinking Finance Analyst to join our Operations Finance team at our European headquarters in the vibrant city of Luxembourg.

You will work on a diverse range of topics supporting the EU FP&A team for Operations with particular focus on process improvement and standardization across Regional teams.
Key responsibilities :
Establishing and maintaining accurate operating and business metrics
Create meaningful analyses by collecting, analyzing and managing quantitative data that lead to business improvements and cost reductions
Standardization and working with EU regional teams on projects and process improvement.
Analyze big data
Developing scalable and efficient financial processes that support the business
Enhance areas in the existing manual process.
Provide and communicate reporting and analysis to senior stakeholders.
Conducting business case analysis of new programs and services
You can employ root cause analysis to identify issues quickly, while uncovering their causes.
Skills / Experience :
Demonstrable relevant finance accounting experience.
Excellent written communication skills.
Experience in Operations / Logistics or other manufacturing environment is a plus.
Experience in working in a fast-paced growth environment with ambiguity.
Knowledge of SQL required.
Advanced Excel user (VBA)
Python and analytical tools such as R / SAS / Power BI is a plus.
Basic qualifications :
Higher degree certification,
Relevant accounting experience gained in a mixed context : public accounting / industry is preferred,
Demonstrable track record of having a successful impact on milestone-driven projects,
You’re conscientious and committed : you roll up your sleeves to get the job done and you aim to exceed expectations while you’re at it,
An excellent, persuasive verbal and written communicator, you’re able to liaise with varying levels of seniority within a large, international organisation,
Previous exposure to researching accounting conclusions : you’re also able to back up your conclusions with supporting documentation,
You’re an experienced, dedicated, and passionate accounting professional; you’re also excited about the considerable impact of your input on our rapidly expanding business going forwards,
You’re able to competently report on monthly close cycles, periodic financial reporting, as well as related analysis,
You also possess solid organisational skills, alongside the ability to manage risk.
