Your Team

You will join us in our well-established Invesco Real Estate Fund Accounting team, in Luxembourg.

Your Role

As a Senior Controller onour Fund Accounting team,you will play an important role in assuming responsibility for all management and financial accounting and reporting of assigned funds and their subsidiaries.

You will provide financial analysis to non-financial colleagues and manage accountants.

You will be responsible for :

  • Ensure production of timely and accurate consolidated quarterly financial reports for real estate funds (including IFRS adjustments, deferred tax and revaluation of financial instruments and validation of quarterly accounts of the Luxembourg and non-Luxembourg subsidiaries in compliance with the company’s policies and procedures) with in-depth analysis and commentary.
  • Ensure production of consolidated annual reports
  • Oversee production of annual statutory accounts for Luxembourg and overseas subsidiaries
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of adequate and effective processes to improve the close and reporting cycles to ensure timely and accurate reporting
  • Act as the main point of contact to external auditors and provide all required information
  • Monitor and supporting taxation issues
  • The skills and experience you’ll bring

    You will :

  • Have extensive previous experience in a similar position, ideally gained within the real estate sector.
  • Have previous experience of providing Financial Control across a group of companies
  • Have sound and up to date knowledge of Lux GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Knowledge of auditing and practices and principles
  • Knowledge of local corporate and VAT taxation requirements
  • IFRS Consolidation
  • Exceptional computer skills in the operation and functioning of all programs used by the organization, i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
  • and Yardi (real estate accounting software)

  • University degree Accounting or equivalent
  • Fluent in English German or French would be seen as an asset
  • Experience supervising a team (desirable)
