The University of Luxembourg is seeking to hire a highly motivated researcher in the area of radio resource management and user scheduling for its Interdisciplinary Centre of Security and Trust (SnT), within the Remote Sensing research group, led by Prof. Tonie van Dam.
The group researches single-satellite, constellation and in particular formation flight mission concepts for Earth observation.
Proximity operations with cooperative and noncooperative targets for satellite servicing and debris removal extends our portfolio.
The group partakes in SnT’s space laboratory developments including the 5G SatComLab and the ZeroG lab. We are strengthening the group to reproduce proximity operations of satellites such as rendezvous, propulsion and solar-aerodynamics governed formation flight using distributed autonomy approaches on the ground.
