Treasury Accountant Luxembourg CCA120
Our client is a leading post-graduate education provider with many prestigious institutions across Europe, LATAM and China specialising in subjects ranging from fashion to medicine and dentistry.
Generating revenues in excess of 250M EUR and having experienced a wave of organic growth and acquisition, the organisation is amidst a full development of its corporate and financing structure and is a consequence expanding its Luxembourg business to enable the production of all group financial information, reporting, treasury and group consolidation.
The Role :
Oversee the Group's cash management, forecasting and optimisation
Lead implementation and administration of technology solutions relating to cash management
Manage relationship with operational banks
Manage payments process for central entities
Own approval matrix for payments / disbursements across the Group, liaise with Operating Units to ensure adherence
Onboard new acquisitions into Group's cash pool and banking system
Maintain the related intercompany agreements
Work with Group Chief Accountant and the Paris team to ensure smooth Group Audit
Work on all aspects of accounting (payroll, suppliers, intercompany, cash) for 9 service and holding companies
Support on tax compliance for central service and holding companies
Support on the quarter end covenant calculation and year end certificate and calculations
Monitor compliance with financing arrangements across the Group
Manage compliance with relevant legislation (FATCA, CRS, Anti-Bribery) answer compliance requests (such as KYC)
The Profile :
Minimum 3 years experience in Treasury activities and related processes
Fluent in English, French is considered as an asset
Working knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP, IFRS and other relevant accounting standards
Work with confidence and autonomy
Strong attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness
