Foresight Group Luxembourg currently manages two EU domiciled funds and is envisaging to expand to more funds throughout Europe.

Hence, we are looking to grow our Luxembourg team. We will offer to the potential candidate a small team, but rapidly expanding, company environment with focused and motivated individuals.

  • Training and guidance will be provided. The candidate will be part of the growing Continental Europe team based in Europe and will work closely with our colleagues in Rome and ;
  • Key Responsibilities :

    Manage and organise the day-to-day operation of the funds :

  • Incorporation / liquidation
  • Board / shareholders meetings
  • Investments' transactions
  • Expected to develop an understanding of limited partnership agreement, articles of association, and other legal documents relating to the management, control, and administration of the fund vehicles
  • Daily cash management tasks across several bank accounts
  • Transfer agency (TA) services :

  • Onboarding of investors
  • Capital calls
  • Distributions / Equalisations
  • Shares register update
  • Accounting and auditing of the funds :

  • Preparation, calculation, and review of quarterly NAVs for the funds
  • Bookkeeping and preparation of financial statements according to the local GAAP and IFRS
  • Filing of the annual accounts on eCDF
  • Assisting in the coordination of year-end audits
  • Preparing periodic tax and VAT returns and maintaining relevant contact with the Luxembourg tax authorities and tax advisers
  • Others :

  • Establish processes and procedures for the Central Administration of the Funds
  • To be the contact person for various service providers
  • Maintaining proper files / documentation
  • Provide assistance to superiors in delegated projects / tasks
  • Qualifications and Experience Requirement (Essential) :

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional qualification, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration
  • Minimum two years’ experience in the fund industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of fund accounting and fund administration
  • Strong knowledge of the Luxembourg alternative investment Fund industry
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to write basic reports, minutes, business correspondence
  • Ability to work independently and deliver quality work
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in English (French, German or Italian would be an advantage)
  • Legally able to work in Luxembourg
  • Qualifications and Experience Requirement (Desirable) :

  • Accounting or Audit background
  • The mindset to grow within the Operation team
  • An understanding of the Fund structures in Luxembourg.
