Applications are invited by the Luxembourg office ofthe Maples Group for the position of Compliance Analyst(AML) Who, under the supervision of the Compliance officer(the CO ), will review and analyse documentation to meet customerdue diligence requirements, identify and monitor suspicioustransactions, perform transaction monitoring and participate inperiodic audits and compliance reviews including the quality andtimeliness of information and documentation, liaise with investors,clients, law firms and other parties in various internationaljurisdictions.
The role will also involve identifying and providingtraining on AML compliance , providing guidance on requirements tothe business units, updating procedures to meet regulatoryobligations and group policies, complete other duties as maybereasonably required by the CO or other representatives of theGroup.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor / Universitydegree or relevant experience, with at least 2-3 years' priorexperience in similar roles and deep knowledge of AML regulations.
He / she must have and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office andall Microsoft applications. He / she should be fluent in English.
Proficiency in French or German would be an asset. The positionrequires great attention to detail, professionalism and excellentorganizational and communication skills.
The successful candidatewill also be able to demonstrate the ability to work with differentpeople at different levels. The successful candidate must be ableto use his / her own initiative and work well under pressure to meetdeadlines, and be flexible in his / her duties.
