About the Role :

Within our Strategy Department we are currently looking for a Senior Brand Manager who will support the implementation of strategic guidelines and the development and line extension of the specific brand(s) within the category.

The candidate will be highly exposed to quantitative and qualitative tools of market researches with the request of interpreting the learning and making them actionable.

Main Responsibilities :

STRATEGIC PLANNING AND PROJECT DEVELOPMENT

  • Conduct global marketplace analysis, monitoring new launches, looking for input and new trends;
  • Support Category strategic guidelines and strategic framework definition;
  • Actively contributing to the development of the full marketing mix;
  • Aligning and coordinating all the key stakeholders, engaging colleagues to get their full commitment and agreement to ensure the implementation of the actions;
  • Monitoring the whole process to ensure the achievement of the goals within the scheduled timing.
  • MARKET DEVELOPMENT AND CONTROL

  • Be responsible for special projects regarding the assigned brand portfolio;
  • Participate to periodical meetings with main interfaces to discuss, share and propose business opportunities and identify possible issues and risks.
  • MARKETING INNOVATION / RENOVATION

    Support new product and "big-renovation" projects, concerning quality, market test and research guidelines, pricing level, positioning and communication :

  • Prepare and take part to the research field activities (Qualitative and Quantitative);
  • Deeply analyze research results, in order to identify and propose opportunities of marketing mix fine-tuning;
  • Support the development and maintenance of Product-Range strategy, portfolio management (complexity), including CU (and TU base);
  • Create Packaging Designs or ADV briefs for agencies, participating in the evaluation of the works to select the winning ones and finally ensuring the completion of the activities;
  • Coordinate the activities carried out by external suppliers (mock ups, artworks, shooting, etc.).
  • BRAND MANAGEMENT

  • Support brand image and positioning, including new communication big ideas (or positioning change) and audits on integrated marketing communications;
  • Support brand legal matters, nutrition and sustainability;
  • Support regular market / business performance analysis & reporting;
  • Support range development and strategy for international rollouts (i.e. Europe, China);
  • Support brand value, sustainability and quality monitoring and improvement.
  • Who we are looking for :

    Profile :

  • 7-10 years of experience in Marketing or related field;
  • Expertise of FMCG and Brand Marketing environment;
  • Strategic Marketing experience is considered as a plus;
  • Multi markets and culture understanding;
  • Strong communication and influencing skills;
  • Analytical and financial skills;
  • Result oriented;
  • Project management;
  • Dynamic, flexible, proactive approach and ability to work effectively in high - pressure situations within strict deadlines;
  • Availability to travel.
  • IT Skills :

  • Excellent PC command (Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Excellent knowledge of Nielsen / IRI DBs;
  • Familiarity with SAP Architecture is considered a plus.
  • Language :

  • Fluent in English;
  • Any other language is considered a plus.
