Compliance Officer (M / F)
As a Compliance Officer you will be involved within the organisation of Intertrust with the aim to prevent, by all reasonable means, the occurrence of compliance risks (risks of legal or regulatory sanction, financial loss or damage to the reputation of Intertrust) which could result of the failure comply with applicable laws and regulations or internal rules and standards.
Compliance aims at stimulating, monitoring and controlling the observation of laws, regulations, internal rules - including the Intertrust Principles of Business Conduct -
and ethical standards that are relevant to the integrity and, hence, to the reputation of Intertrust .

Liaising with business units in relation to the on boarding process of new client entity;
Handling of business requests and follow-up on new and existing client entities;
Follow-up and cleaning of action points recorded in View Point
Organise monthly meetings with your business units to ensure a proper follow-up of the decision taken by the LAC and on the collection of the KYC and agreements;
Perform the controls as mentioned on the compliance monitoring program
Prepare specific reporting on the result of your controls and report the results as well as the remedial actions to the Compliance manager
Perform the black list screening by managing hits on Pythagoras and doing the relevant investigation to determine if a suspicious activity report should be issued or a PEP approval request or a reassessment of the business relationship
Train Junior staff and providing training sessions to Business in relation to KYC related matters
Actively support your Management in the implementation of new projects
Prepare compliance advice
Update as the case may be internal control procedures
Have a University degree in Finance / Economics / Tax, Law or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Excellent written and oral communication skills, services oriented, positive minded and pro-active attitude;
Are fluent in English, written and spoken. Any additional language is considered an advantage
Strong attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to manage conflict and promote a positive work environment
Good communication skills,
Ability to demonstrate a sense of responsibility and flexibility to adapt to changing objectives and assignments;
Ability to work in a team, under pressure and meet deadlines;
Willing to develop in a fast changing environment.
