    Business Professionals are integral to the running of the firm and are critical to its success. ROLE The purpose of this role is to support the growing strategy of our Luxembourg office by delivering high-quality IT services to all levels of staff in our different practice areas.

    The successful candidate will report to the IT manager in Luxembourg and will liaise directly with partners, lawyers, other Business Professionals as well as global IT teams in the network.

  • Contract : permanent contract (CDI) Hours : 40H per week KEY-RESPONSIBILITIES This job opportunity covers two areas of expertise : IT Training IT Support As an IT trainer, you will work in close collaboration with our IT trainer and will assist him by : training new joiners and all levels of staff in the proficient use of all in-house systems and applications both in French and English;
  • ensuring an appropriate follow-up of the various training programmes through the provision of IT tips on the basis of queries made by our system users;
  • keeping our Intranet site up-to-date; undertake regular floorwalking to ensure all staff remain up-to-date on 'best practice' and best use of IT;
  • local application and language set testing, to ensure that all new applications and systems can operate successfully in Luxembourg;
  • maintain a suitable test and / or training environment within the office. As an IT Junior Support staff member in close collaboration with our IT support team, you will assist them by : providing all our system users with assistance with regard to IT applications, hardware (computers, laptops, mobile phones, printers, tablets, etc.

  • and telephone issues; Ensuring best use of in-house incident management procedures and escalations via the agreed Service Desk tool (ServiceNow) PROFILE Qualifications and Experience You successfully passed a 2-year degree with an IT focus;
  • Experience of working in the legal sector or a similar professional services type organisation is considered as an asset;
  • ITIL Foundation or above desirable; First experience in continuous improvement (CI). Interpersonal skills Good customer service skills and a proven track record in delivery outstanding service;
  • Strong relationships skills and confidence in communicating at all levels in both front and back office areas; Strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and English;
  • Provide a high degree of initiative and a willingness to accept ownership, keeping the client's interests at the forefront;
  • Ability to 'add-value' to the business operation, through IT systems and services; Own, resolve and escalate calls, working with other resolution teams where necessary (notably Infrastructure Services in London, Continental Europe and India).

  • Technical skills Fluency both in English and French; Strong interest in new technologies (software, hardware, etc.); Highly knowledgeable about MS Office applications, Microsoft Windows "OS" and Active Directory;
  • Document Management Systems (iManage or equivalent); Working knowledge of Apple-related tools (iPhone, iPad, iOS, Mac, etc.) and Android equivalents.
