Client Details

This bank operates as branch and offers a variety of services to international customers and can count on a long and stable presence in the Luxembourgish market.


  • Oversight of all activities of Finance & Accounting department
  • Responsibility for implementing business procedures, controlling cost or expenditure and maintaining quality standards
  • Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner
  • Communicate monthly and annual financial statements
  • Collate financial reporting materials for all business lines and oversee all financial accounting
  • Reporting for Head Office, CBRC, CSSF, BCL, or any other local banking administration.
  • Prepare the statistical information for the business analysis purpose on monthly basis, responsible for the ALCO meeting.
  • Prepare Annual report, involve in LFR, oversee and assist with external auditors.
  • Liaise with internal / external auditors, consultant Company and Head Office, leading related project.
  • Ensure the overall tax compliance in corporation tax, VAT and other company tax areas, with supporting of external experts if needed.
  • Prepare operational expenses budget reporting, forecasts and statistics in compliance with national regulations and / or international accounting standards.
  • Preparation and update of the accounting manual.

  • To establish, review and amend the overall accounting policies of the Bank to ensure they are in consistency with local accounting standards and practices.
  • Establish and manage a comprehensive training program to educate employees regarding staff tool knowledge, policies, and procedures.
  • Analyze the regulatory management trend of risk and suggest the training plan.
  • Profiles

  • At least 10 years of relevant working experience in a commercial bank or financial institution.
  • Excellent knowledge of Luxembourg tax and accounting standards (Lux GAAP, IFRS).
  • Solid skills in regulatory reporting to CSSF / BCL (FinRep, CoRep, Large Exposures, LCR, Short Form Report).
  • Team player and project management skill.
