Role Overview The EU Supply Chain team is looking for a Program Manager for its Inventory Placement Strategy & Operations team.
Within the Inventory placement team, you will develop new ways to tackle the trade offs we're facing in getting our products as close as possible from our customers, in order to increase our speed to deliver to customers at the best possible cost, while managing the network physical constraints.
This role will give you a unique view on Amazon systems, process and operations, interacting with business teams, planning teams, fulfillment centers and technical teams.

This position is based out of our EU Headquarters in Luxembourg. Responsibilities You will : # Own existing key placement metrics, ensuring timely reporting and developing insights about their evolution, as well as using advanced analytics to suggest new metrics # Identify new ideas to improve our placement performance in the European network against these metrics # Build and follow an action plan embarking key stakeholders that you will support and influence : operations, tech and business teams # Leverage advanced analytics required to visualize opportunities and measure progresses on those improvement opportunities # Support the team in implementing new ideas into production through coordination with operations, planning and system owners BASIC QUALIFICATIONS # Master degree in a scientific subject / mechanical engineering / supply chain management # 5 years of experience in a highly analytical environment # Strong data analysis skills, ability to produce, interpret and draw conclusions from data # Organized, self-starter and a quick learner.
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. # Ability to handle senior stakeholders management # Must be an independent problem solver that can make high quality judgments and decisions quickly with excellent organization skills.
Must be detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects. # Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a must have # Excellent communicating skills coupled with ability to comfortably and confidently present to all levels within the company is required # Experience of dealing with results, metrics and data management and desire to create and build new processes PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS # Knowledge of SQL is a plus # Knowledge of R / Python / any tool allowing visualization and automation is also a plus
