Senior Corporate Counsel
As a Senior Corporate Counsel you will play an important role in the development of our business and in maintaining our strong reputation and global leadership standing.
In this role you will take ownership of an assigned portfolio of global corporations and private clients (infrastructure, energy, industrials, high net worth individuals, family offices and more).
This role will give you exposure to global financial markets and develop your client account management and development skills to build trustful, long-term client relationships.
As first point of contact for clients, you will manage the timely co-ordination and end-to-end life cycle of all client requests, transactions (M&A, refinancing, new corporate structures ), statutory requirements and business cycles.
You ensure all clients are in good standing across all aspects of legal, corporate & financial administration / documentation as well as regulatory compliance and governance at every stage of the transaction life-cycle from incorporations through to liquidations.
Take-up directorships mandates in client companies if requested.
Monitor the various steps of the transactions, assessing and managing risk and escalation.
Analyse accounts and proactively manage any tax issues with internal experts and external parties (transfer pricing, DAC6, IP, C.I.T., M.B.T. and TVA).
Organise shareholder and board meetings and prepare legal documentation with internal teams and external parties.
Coach and develop members of your team, sharing your expertise and knowledge with colleagues and team members.
Have drive, passion for client service and delivery of expert knowledge across legal & regulatory processes.
Work well under pressure and excel in project management with strong control of milestones and deliverables.
You are good at analysing and interpreting documents, regulations and procedures relating to our clients’ legal and fiscal needs.
Have 3-4 years proven expertise in corporate services, international law, tax or trust environment.
A natural team player who is confident, flexible and who is keen to grow and develop.
A preliminary experience of Luxembourg market, regulations (legal, tax, financial accounting & reporting) and market developments is an advantage.
