Join us and make your mark at State Street. In the role of Tax Administrator you will be responsible for : The Tax Administrator (TA) is mainly responsible for day to day tax administration of investment funds and that tax treatments are correctly applied.
The preparation of the VAT declarations is also part of the responsibilities of the TA. The TA is responsible for tasks such as funds tax certifications and documentation requirements for reduction at source, reclaims process and all queries related to taxes between fund groups and clients.
Prepare Fund Tax documentation
Prepare documents for reduction at source and liaise with the local tax authorities, with the relevant tax teams located in our US office and with clients.
Tax Reclaims Filing, Follow-up and Reconciliation
File all tax reclaims according to the standard procedure.
Monitor and control the open tax reclaims through all the stages via follow-up with relevant tax team located in our US office.
Receive tax reclaims forms from the relevant tax team located in our US office and collect all the necessary signatures. Tax tables
Identify the impacts for the funds further to the market bulletin received.
Review tax changes performed in SSB core system and inform the client service teams when necessary.
Respond to any queries from the client service teams, custody teams and clients. Luxembourg VAT declarations.
Prepare the tax declaration of the value added tax for the relevant funds.
Make sure that all the payments are processed. To be successful in this role, your experience should include : Academic Qualification
1 year Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Finance or equivalent, or above. Working Experience
1 year in a tax unit environment and / or 2 years in the fund industry Technical Knowledge
Basic knowledge of Luxembourg investment fund legal structures and Luxembourg regulations. PC Skills
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), Outlook Language Skills
