DuPont Luxembourg is currently looking for a HR Generalist on a one-year fixed term contract.

The main purpose of this position is to work with the Country HR Manager covering all essential HR topics and implementing HR policies in line with our HR strategy.

Whilst the main responsibilities are related to consulting, the handling of some transactional and administrative tasks are required for the successful performance of the role.

  • Provide advice and service to management and employees in all HR matters, coaching supervisors around HR-related questions and topics
  • Follow-up and communicate on employment regulation and legislation, optimize HR processes in line with the global and local HR strategy and initiatives
  • Contribute to the Talent Acquisition and Management process, assisting managers in the identification, development and retention of talents
  • Play an active part in industrial relations matters, works council and union meetings
  • Support managers in difficult face to face relationships (i.e. : resignation, termination, disciplinary cases)
  • Contribute effectively in the performance management process : i.e. follow-up on low and high performers and potentials
  • Guide and work on Compensation & Benefits processes in close collaboration with the EMEA Compensation & Benefits team
  • Maintain constructive relationships with the EMEA HR community and work in close relationship with the HR Shared Service Center
  • Working collaboratively with internal and external 3rd parties and support the local implementation of corporate regulations, tools and programs.
  • Training Managers to apply internal processes, policies and local labor law
  • The HR Generalist advises and coaches employees and line management
  • Recruitment & selection, performance management, industrial relations, coaching & training, organizational development, compensation & benefits
  • Job Qualification

  • University Degree Bachelor and / or Master in Human Resources or similar discipline preferred
  • Min. 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist, preferably in a multinational and industrial company
  • Fluent in speaking and writing German and English is a must. French and / or Luxembourgish would be an asset
  • Autonomous with good sense of team spirit and can do-attitude
  • Analytical and pragmatic mindset
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Coaching ability, direct and indirect influencing skills, being a change driver are considered as strong assets
