About the Role :
For our Ferrero Head Quarters in Luxembourg we are currently looking for a Trade Marketing Manager of the Travel Market department, who should be acting as a process integrator’’ mainly between Marketing, Sales and Supply Chain regarding Demand Planning, adapting Group Category strategies to fit with business conditions in order to meet Company objectives with regard to volume and profitability by Category.
Main Tasks :
CATEGORY & CHANNEL STRATEGIES & PLANS
Monitoring and analyzing trade, competitors and shopper market data related to the assigned Channel / Category, in order to identify business opportunities and develop new Trade Marketing plans;
Developing innovative tactics to help retailers to meet their shoppers’ needs;
Developing effective medium- and long-term strategies in line with the Ferrero Group Marketing guidelines;
Defining the Category & Channel Vision;
Developing the My Perfect Store Channel and Customer Strategies and KPIs;
Implementing appropriate Category development actions in conjunction with the Trade at the point of sale.
Supporting the definition of Sales strategies (assortment, trade investment, etc.) at Channel / Account level to maximize the business development and profitability;
Translating Marketing Plans to specific Channel / Customer plans (session plans, promotion, etc.) in line with retailer’s needs;
Supporting Key Account Manager providing argumentation, in the development of joint business plans, monitoring performances of implemented plans at channel / account / Category level.
IN STORE ACTIVITY MANAGEMENT & REVENUE MANAGEMENT
Providing to Sales the best tools and means required for the implementation of the Marketing Strategy inside the point of sales : Coordinating the development of sales promotion activities, and the implementation of Trade Marketing initiatives at store level (promotions, placement, POP material, Point of Sales (POS) animation, etc );
Integrating Marketing activities and Customers Management promotional projects;Collecting the Sales Function requirements and ensuring the implementation of Country initiatives and tailor-made activities for requiring Clients;
Coordinating information flows between Marketing and Sales;Leading MyPS development and implementation with the support of Business Intelligence, Marketing and Sales;
Defining the placement guidelines for shelf, checkouts and second placement.
Optimizing Gross to Net by developing, recommending and monitoring Pricing / Price packs / Promos / Trade investment action
Leveraging on commercial planning support and the connection with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Trade and Shoppers in order to achieve the yearly objectives minimizing risk of out of stock and products returns;
Assuring a demand plan for the full S&OP horizon considering trends, commercial initiatives, customers / distributors input and leveraging Trade BI analytics;
Checking and balancing the short term 0 to 4-6 Months plan to deploy deliveries to customers (supply control vs availability), monitoring and validating the rolling forecast, comparing also with historical data;
Chairs and guarantees the periodical Sales & Operations Planning meetings defining the agenda, main topics and participants acting as Business Process Owner for the S&OP vs local and central stakeholders;
Contributing to a solid Demand Review phase within S&OP process checking commercial plans deviations vs. business targets and managing trade offs between operations constraints and business priorities.
Who we are looking for :
BSc or MSc in Management, Economics, Engineering or related;
At least 6-10 years of experience;
Experience in Trade Marketing and People Management is mandatory;
Previous experience in FMCG is a plus;
Previous experience in Travel Market is a plus;
Previous experience in Travel Retailers (e.g. Heinemann, Dufry), in Border Stores or Airport Stores is a plus;
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects within scheduled timelines;
High flexibility and result orientation;
Strong communication skills;
Excellent team working skills;
Capabilities to influence key functions & stakeholder;
Project management skills;
Fluent in English, any other language is a plus.
IT Skills :
Excellent skills in MS Office.
