To support our growth, we are currently seeking for an IT System Engineer. OVERALL OBJECTIVE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Job purpose :
The IT System Engineer is responsible for administering the existing software applications and infrastructure components for internal teams and client projects.
Also the optimization, design, configuration and implementation of new solutions in close cooperation with the IT Development, Application, Infrastructure and Project teams are part of the role.
Further the migration and operation of existing IT environments into cloud (DevSecOps mode) will become a main activity.
Major duties and responsibilities :
Participate in the planning, definition and design of IT environments for new products and solutions;
Receive and treat access requests, change requests, user requests according to the defined processes and procedures;
Implementation and preservation of the security measures defined in the Information Security Policy and applicable procedures;
Investigate root-causes, deliver support to existing business users and investigating and resolving errors (process, configuration, design, etc.);
Establish and / or operate backups as per backup policies / processes;
Preparation and testing of business continuity and disaster recovery policies / processes;
Maintain documentation of the operated systems and maintain the asset inventory;
Performing tasks requiring administrative privilege profile or security privilege profile;
Define, implement and manage security parameters such as role based access control, segregation, authentication, authorization, etc.;
Define, implement and manage monitoring and event log generation parameters;
Consultation of IT monitoring systems and event logs for security and operational purposes;
Participate in the migration of existing solutions to cloud PROFILE Requirements to access to this function
Education requirements : Bachelor degree in IT or related fields or equivalent education
Work experience requirements : 3+ years in IT system administration (Application or Infrastructure) Knowledge / Technical Skills
Advanced knowledge of application and infrastructure administration
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows server and usual roles (Active directory, GPO, DNS, IIS, WSUS)
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure
Knowledge of the SecDevOps culture and tools (CI / CD, GITOps)
Knowledge of application and infrastructure monitoring
Basic knowledge of Linux server
Basic knowledge of network administration
Basic knowledge of virtualization
Basic knowledge of databases administration
Basic knowledge of IT landscape design
Knowledge of containerized environments is an asset
Knowledge of IaaS, PaaS and SaaS is an asset Language skills
