Missions Reporting to the Authorised Management, the Chief Risk Officer has primary responsibility for the operational risk framework and risk function of the Bank.

Key Requirements University Degree in Finance or Economics Minimum 8 years of work experience in the Banking sector Extensive knowledge of risk measurement systems and concepts Solid knowledge of risk reporting under the relevant regulatory requirement Ability to present complex technical information clearly and accurately and manage senior level relationships with internal and external parties, including auditors and the regulators Proficient in MS Office Languages : English (mandatory) -

French / Spanish (advantage) Key soft skills Able to work under pressure and to respect deadlines Proactive, open-minded, rigorous, responsible and a fast learner with a dynamic personality Inquisitive mind and analytical skills Organisational skills Flexible and adaptable Good leadership skills Key Responsibilities Hands on leadership role overseeing the risk management in accordance with all local regulatory requirements and in line with corporate policies.

Provide expert advice and feedback to the business line. Ensure responsibility for identifying, managing, monitoring and controlling risks and implementing risk control measures accordingly across the overall risk management framework Produce the regulatory reports : ICAAP, Pillar III, Summary Report for the risk function and Recovery Plan.

  • Supervise the production of the risk reports (internal & regulatory) Ensure that internal and regulatory reportings are performed according to the internal procedures and regulatory requirements Review, monitor and report to the Management Committee and Head of Group Risk Management and make recommendations on the adequacy and effectiveness of and any deficiencies in the overall risk framework of the Bank;
  • Perform operational risk assessments process and challenge the business on the risks identified as well as the adequacy of the relevant controls / action plan.

    Act as the point of contact for the Luxembourg Regulator (CSSF) and be responsible for the preparation of all required risk related reports.
