Role : Stores Supervisor Contract : Monday-Friday, 40 Hours a week,6 months contract Location : Luxembourg My client who has become one of the leading companies in regard to quality and reliability in the air rescue & air ambulance business is looking for a Stores Supervisor to join them.
If you are open to a new contract and have experience working in bonded stores this could be the role for you. ResponsibilitiesResponsible to supervise all stores activitiesEstablish stores employees work schedule making sure that duty times are respected, planned absence is scheduled and unplanned absence is coveredDefine with the Maintenance Manager adequate competence of Stores Department employee to fulfil their dutiesSelect part and service suppliers based on operational needs (cost effectivity or TAT)Evaluate suppliers based on KPI’s (on time delivery, warranty cases) and / or supplier evaluationsOrdering of parts, tools and servicesOrganisation of off wing component repairs with approved contractors / SuppliersHandling of warranty issues and negotiation of warranty claimsManaging the stock of spare parts, consumables and toolsHandling of stock minima’s and inventory controlPrepare and provide spare parts, tools and material to the maintenance departmentInspecting delivered components and goods, in regard to the related documents, packing and conditionBeing responsible for all shipments of components (exchange, repair, overhaul, AOG parts support)Crosscheck of purchase orders versus invoicesupdating of Stores Department’s proceduresensure the functionality and maintain / organize maintenance of the storage devicesMaintain housekeeping procedures within all material storage, shipping & receiving areaEnsuring regular reporting to the Maintenance ManagerParticipate in audits (EASA, ISO) and to identify relevant actions to close the findings Qualifications & Knowledge Apprenticeship in logistics, storekeeping or equivalentMinimum 5 years’ experience in the technical environment of the aviation industryFirst managerial responsibilities and leadership experienceGood knowledge of logistics & supply chain and procurementCapacity to understand technical mattersKnowledge of EASA-
Luxemburgish, German and / or French considered as an asset Professional & Social Skills Self-motivating and accurate with strong organizational skills and a clear sense of prioritiesFlexible and stress resistant, ability to work and interact with various departments and to establish personal contactsLeads and motivates his assigned personal by example and good communicationAble to work in accordance with procedures & standards specified in a highly regulated environmentWorking independently & acting in a responsible mannerBeing flexible & open to a versatile work environmentBeing able to cope with pressure & respecting deadlines The successful candidate will be required to apply for and receive a DBS certificate prior to commencement of the contract.
