The Best Delivery Advisor will be responsible for assisting and implementing the Firm's 'Best Delivery' strategy locally and changing the way legal services are delivered by the Luxembourg office.
Having the chance to interact with the local Best Delivery sponsoring partner and General Manager as well as with the CE and global Best Delivery program groups, the successful candidate will contribute to delivering improvement projects locally, contribute to effective change management and communicatios plans, ensuring that new ways of working are transferred effectively to other relevant parts of the Firm and tracking the resulting return on investment.
KEY-RESPONSIBILITIES The purpose of this role is to help our lawyers designing new approaches to matter delivery, comprising skill sets including process improvement, project management, commercial management and technology.
Build local capability Support the improvement tools and techniques available to change the way legal services are delivered to our clients, by training others in these tools.
Working with the Senior Best Delivery Advisor to ensure that adequate support models are implemented in the Luxembourg office.
Deployment Working closely with the Senior Best Delivery Advisor, local Best Delivery sponsoring partners and lawyer champions to execute roll-
out plans in the Luxembourg office in order to impact the largest number of client matters as possible.
This could include : Developing expert knowledge in key Best Delivery tools and a good working knowledge of the underlying legal processes involved.
Supporting the Senior Best Delivery Advisor, our lawyers and Business Development teams by contributing to panel firms and client RFP responses, demonstrating our competitive advantage in efficient and integrated legal service delivery using our Best Delivery toolkit.
Programme responsibilities Actively promote solutions and Best Delivery related initiatives locally and sharing of case studies or other promotional materials and implement solutions from other parts of the global network in the Luxembourg office.
Being an active member of the virtual Best Delivery team in Continental Europe and participate in team activities where required.
Participate in local or global reporting or other communications activities.
PROFILE Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in a related field such as business administration, economics, computer Science, etc.
At least 3-4 years' of experience in the legal industry or a professional services environment Experience in working on projects in multidisciplinary teams (preferably as project lead) with a focus on problem solving / change management projects would be considered a strong advantage.
Experience in delivering training and / or mentoring.
Certification / training in process improvement, project management, change management or document automation is preferable.

Language and IT skills Fluent in English.
Knowledge of French and German would be an advantage although not strictly required.

Coding competencies using legal document automation software (such as Contract Express, HotDocs etc.) in order to transform the frequently used documents and forms into intelligent templates.
