The Luxembourg Centre for Contemporary and Digital History (C2DH) is a research centre for the study, analysis and public dissemination of contemporary history of Luxembourg and Europe with a particular focus on digital methods and tools for doing innovative historical research.
It serves as a catalyst for innovative and creative scholarship and new forms of public dissemination and societal engagement with history.
The Postdoc will be a member of the Luxembourg Centre for Contemporary and Digital History (C2DH) at the University of Luxembourg.
He / she will work under supervision of Ass-Prof. Dr. Denis Scuto.
Realisation of a study on the history of the Chambre des Salariés Luxembourg (CSL) as a postdoctoral researcher. The CSL’s and its predecessor institutions’ history goes back to 1924.
Writing its history means dealing with history of social relations, labor history, working conditions, working conditions, social inequalities on a national and transnational level.
