Description
Analyze the market of products for its portfolio, in order to understand the supply and demand dynamic. Set up a mapping of the supplier base based on performance criteria.
Keep a permanent watch on the company geography and technology.
Translate the strategy defined into qualitative and quantitative negotiation plan
Lead jointly with the R&D the standardization, homologation and innovation of internal and external projects
Create a sourcing list and develop privileged relationships with suppliers, which may lead to listing contracts
Prospect and identify new suppliers, study their offers, lead their pre-selection
Guide the supplier's evaluation according to quality, costs and services criteria
Define the contract terms of supplier's intervention in accordance with the company objectives
Ensure the achievement of contractual agreements
Be in charge of the communication for suppliers and / or terms & conditions agreed in order to ensure a successful implementation
Intervene in the event of a dispute with a supplier and / or a non-compliance of operating conditions (with the company support)
Support NPD / NPI process when required
Ensure compliance to Procurement policies and procedures
Profile
Master's degree in Chemical engineering,
At least 5 years' experience as Buyer in Chemical industry (ideally in chemical raw materials),
Fluent in French and English,
Practical, autonomous, rigorous and with good inter-personal skills,
